Our Monroe State Forest hike was cancelled because of Bob Leverett’s sudden illness. We all wish him speedy recovery. We opted for where all of our hikes began, the Bullitt Reservation in Ashfield, where we hiked the 2 1/2 miles to the 2 Bridges, then returned over the same trail, and added on the Pebble Trail loop. We eat our bag lunches on the bridge, and mess around in the stream below. It’s starting to freeze and beautiful ice formations are forming . Sukee steals my orange hat!!! End of the Pebble Trail where there’s a nice little bench and a wonderful view. Another great day with great friends. I think Claudia will love the Pebble Trail! Penny
