I brought my camera with me, but left its battery at home. So, here’s a photo taken by Joe Zadroga. Yes!!! It was a cold morning on the DAR trails, so we picked up speed and I felt like a Native American moving quickly along over the gorgeous fresh snow on narrow trails that kept us captivated for 2 hours. There was a good sharing of handwarmers and hearty friendship. Next week: at Notchview, probably our first snowshoe event of the winter. And on Tuesday, Trustees of Reservations is offering a hike that some of us will do. Stay warm! Hiking addicted Penny
