Nine good friends, three good dogs, twelve inches of new snow, 26 degrees ..today was as good as it gets. Gwen broke trail most of the way as we hiked through a fantasy world of untrodden snow. Photo 3: Deb couldn’t hold back from making a snow angel …and then the dogs descended upon her! Photo 4:There’s always talk of trees and we stop to admire and identify them …. and just stand in the glorious February sun. The sun so much higher in the sky now! Photo 5: Oh no! Back to the cars but with the promise of lentil/sausage soup at Gwen and Kit’s house. Pot luck offerings added corn bread, costini’s, clementines and tangerines, shoo fly pie! and coffee and tea. All three dogs came into the house and were occasionally very well behaved! Wish you were here. Really! Penny
