All at once, it’s wintry AND it’s hunting season. Joe Zadroga’s plastic hunter’s orange cape won the sartorial splendor award, the brooks are still flowing, the dogs begged for treats, we found and followed some big bear tracks, walked and wandered for hours identifying trees and rocks, returned to Deb’s house for crackers and quacamole, chili, corn bread, green salad, fruit salad, cider, and photos of Deb’s recent safari trip to Africa. Thoughts and memories of our fabulous Daley Thanksgiving gathering remain with me, and keep me warm! xo Penny
