Neither snow shoes nor spikes are usable in the present conditions, so we chose to walk Pine Hill Road which, if you’re a car, is “Closed for the Winter”. We were climbing today! The snow is still perfect, but after we left the brief snowmobile trails we broke new trails for about 2 hours, taking turns of course.
