Est. 2013

4/30/15 – Barton’s Cove 4-30=15

4 incredible hours. Geology to knock your socks off. Bloodroot, hepatica, maidenhair spleenwort, badboy Norway Maple budding , Rattlesnake Plantain, and a long list of plants that aren’t in the photos. The Connecticut River. 7 hikers on a log. X marks the spot of ….? We’re not sure. One Hobbit. One 7th Grade class from Framingham out looking at dinosaur tracks. (They show up best if you pour water on them). A rock formation that served as the source of stone for the sidewalks of the town of Greenfield!!! And, at last!, one CowBoy burger for Lissa. It’s been a wonderful day. Next Week: Bear Swamp. See you there. Love, Penny
