You won’t find a much better place to be than the Bensen Blueberry acreage in Heath. Today we picked 103 pounds of organic, lowbush blueberries and had a day filled with magic and friendship while we did it. The fields are downright indescribable and the experience … well, , I think you just have to come next year and join us to really know. After our picnic lunch we got our cart and picking equipment and headed out to our appointed part of the fields. After we filled 4 wooden boxes with blueberries we took a side excursion up a long hill (with views of heaven and earth) and were inspired to join hand in a bit of yoga thankfulness for so many things. Life itself, I suppose! Back to the conveyor belt where the concentration of sorting the “green guys” from the “blue guys” gave rise to much nonsense and competition and blue teeth. I am blessed with health and friends and sweet thoughts of all of you. Penny
