Thursday Hikers

We had such a perfect day today. My photos didn’t convey how gorgeous it was, so I’m just sending a short video. A cloudy day was predicted, but the sun came out and it was heavenly out there. Sufficient snow for snow shoeing, or just using spikes. So enjoy the video. It’s where we swim on hot August days after hiking that same trail. Warning though: the last half of the video is of the ground. Sorry! But picture yourself by this waterfall any way. After the hike we used the Trustees of Reservations conference room for our bag lunches, all kinds of pot luck items, a blueberry pie and an apple crisp to celebrate both Gwen’s and my birthday. We sat around and sang songs. How good a thing it is to sing with your friends. I got my birthday crown. If you’re coming to Camp, you’ll see me wearing it. XO Penny
