It just doesn’t get better than our day today. Our friendship is such a treasure, and after 7 years of “Thursday hiking” together, it just keeps on getting more and more wonderful. Here are a few moments captured today. After the hike we went to Ashfield’s Country Pie Pizza where we ate outside on the porch and had chats with quite a few Ashfield people. One even had a 50’s Studebaker truck. But all were in tune with the wonder of the advent of Spring. Deb, Lissa, Tony, and I actually went back up to the Hawley Bog to check it out. We had hoped to see Buck Bean in flower but couldn’t even find the plant. The bog has seen more glorious days, but we will continue to go there every week in summer. (That includes you too Madge).
