What a wonderful day on wonderful snow.
We started out watching a friendly and stalwart Nordic skier with two “lap dogs” in tow. I do hope all went better for him than it had started.
As for us, we had a great romp on great snow with great side excursions on some great rocks! I feel wonderful just thinking about it.
Mother Nature provided Snow Fleas, aka Nypogastrura nivirola, or more commonly “Springtails”. It does not take much to elate and amuse a Thursday Hiker!
As well, we spotted an Albino Lizard and a Tree Climbing Boa Constrictor! Photos of proof follow below.
