We broke trail through freshly fallen snow on hilly land with glacial rocks, chestnut oaks, hemlocks, mountain laurel, and lots more – even some Witch Hazel.. It was really cold, so I had to think about taking off gloves to take photos. At this time of year, one hike starts to look like “last weeks hike” anyway! Today’s hike was about two hours long and we kept moving, our usual nonsense being hampered by the cold. Bag lunches once again back in Lynn’s driveway where we celebrated Joe’s 76th birthday with Coconut bars made and served “COVID style” by Lissa and enough nonsense and laughing to make up for what we skipped on the trail. Stay warm! Love from Penny
