You might know that Tony has brain cancer and. by knowing him, you won’t be surprised that he’s dealing with it with the same love of life and grace.that he has always owned Today we celebrated the return of the Bob O Links to his lower fields, the blooming of the Polygalas (Gay WIngs) to one of the upper fields, and the joy of seeing that the lady slippers are budded! Joe Zadroga borrowed a John Deere “Gator” that drove Tony up the trails and all around his fields. It was simply wonderful for him, and for all of us. His constant companion, 12 year old Sukee, managed to keep up and never leaves Tony’s side. Two of his horses (Rosie and Chia) watched him drive by their barnyard….(or perhaps might Chia have been asleep on her feet?:) Oh we did have such a good day today! We’ve counted up and found that we’ve had 392 hikes together over the years, so for sure we will have a 400th celebration pretty soon. “Stay tuned”. Stay well, be thankful, and have fun! Love, Penny
