A fine day for hiking a brand new Kestrel Land Trust trail with the temperature at 31, some light wind, mostly wide trails, minimal climbs. some ice underfoot, lots of water underfoot, lovely discoveries and plenty of hight spirits. Some WItches’ Butter (be sure to show Claudia and Paulie) added two splotches of bright color to the day. Bag lunches back in the sunny (South facing) garage at Lynn and John’s house with a big pot of tea brought out for sharing.
