The heat was driven away by the shade of the forest and the cool breeze that just stayed with us. Seems to be that the fungi are started to emerge – is this a Chicken or a Hen of the woods at the base of that Oak tree Phil and Ellie? Really, really good 2 1/2 miles of interesting trails, really good fun with friends, followed by bag lunches at the Conway Pond and a long long swim in its wonderful waters. This comes with hearty wishes for you, Fred, as have your surgical procedure tomorrow. I know that I/we will be thinking of both of you, Sue and Fred, with hearty and powerful Daley inspired healing thoughts. With lots of love to all, Penny
