Thursday Hikers

First photo is as far as Donna an I got on this hike!! At first the sides of the trail was leaf covered and negotiable, but soon it was totally iced over with a a watery melt on top. Shiny and as smooth as a skating rink! There was no ice in the river, the trail had it all!! So Donna (just recovered from Covid) and I (and my bad hip) turned around. We made a stop at the very scenc trailhead with beautiful views of the river below us . Here’s to next week’s ike!! It was sad to miss this one.
My hybrid witch hazel is in full bloom and the pussy willows are starting up too. I bet you’re seeing some (all too early signs) of Spring too! Penny
