Amazing fun on this 4.2 mile hike in perfect weather after such a cold, dark, windy, wet day yesterday. Everyone was in high spiirits. Joe, Conrad and Bob took a dare and finally got up to the top of a rock we’ve always loved and have always taken pjotos of ourselves in front of. The “descent” might have proven harder than the ascent. The Westfield River was running fast and high – and so I thnk were we! As Dr. Suess said, “It’s fun to have fun, but you have to know how”. Hooray for the. longer days, I hope you all had fun today too. TAlmost tme to set our clocks ahead!! Love rom Penny
