Brrrrr. Too cold to take gloves off for photo taking, so here’s just one from today’s jolly hike. Probably the cold had a lot to do with the fun we had…after all we were surviving together! Actually, though, the temperature eventually rose to 14 above and there was not much wind so, although not balmy, it was indeed….. pleasant. This trail system is dotted with massive glacial boulders and we can’t resist hiking through those that have split – like the one shown here. Thanks again go to Claudia’s Christmas scarf that she knit for me for once again keeping my neck nice and warm. With thoughts of Charlie who has left us and who always gave us inspiration of all kinds, Love, Penny
