We had a terrific, and challenging, hike today. After 3 1/2″ of rain fell last night, so needless to say the woods were full of water. We know Bear Swamp trails really well, but today the trails were more like streams. And the rocky streams were just cascading, and challenging to get across, We had fun with friendship overcoming those challenges.
As ever, we had a grand time, and lunch at Elmer’s Store was more than welcome once we got there and could take off our layers of soggy clothes. Hoping I’ll be able to send photos next week, Penny
