Thursday Hikers

Est. 2013

11/29/18 – Mt Tom Reservation Easthampton MA

Four hours of hiking, steep ups and downs, and water water EVERYWHERE. Lots of streams to cross, lots of slippery leaf covered trails. And lots of solid good old fun. Not much plant life to report except this evergreen Rattlesnake Plantain looking really healthy and ready for the winter ahead. (As are we.) Lunch at Bread Euphoria after nearly 4 hours of challenging hiking. There we celebrated Tom’s birthday (I made his favorite – chocolate chip cookies) and Sukee’s birthday (she’s now 9 years old)and we presented her with a dog bandana featuring trails and forest animals. I’m sure you all had a memorable Thanksgiving day, and that many of you are now eating Turkey souo (as am I). Here comes December! Stay warm, Love, Penny {CAPTION}
