Thursday Hikers

Est. 2013

11/4/21 – Hall Conservation Area and MA Audubon trails Williamsburg MA

Great hiking trails! We just loped along for 3 hours on wonderfully varied trails with fun switchbacks, flooded streams, and chilly weather that really kept us moving. Had to stop for a group photo at “The Big Oak” though. Someone found a piece of metal from some kind of old equipment and we stopped to see if we could “Stump the Engineer”. Conrad (engineer) can always come up with some sort of explanation for what things are and how things worked, but he was puzzled by this one. So for once, it would seem, we Stumped the Engineer! Hiker Lynn is baby siting two dogs for some friends and we were welcomed to get in out of the cold for bag lunches on the porch of their wonderful old Colonial home. Time to Fall Back with the clocks. Stay warm, Love from Penny {CAPTION}
