Fantastic day today ! Great hiking weather in a beautiful forested area with fast running brook, beautiful trails, and nice climbs. The hikers were so happy to have Paul and Claudia and Paulie with us! They’d been looking forward to it. And the kids were wonderful!!! Full of energy….. they have great curiosity and really are good hikers!! We ate our bag lunches at the area’s stage like gathering place. We always play charades there and today Paulie absolutely ruled the stage!!! And Claudia got to light the birthday candle for Deb’s birthday cookie celebration. When we got back to Conway, we went behind the barn to look at the new compost bins that Paul has built for me. Claudia and Paulie climbed up on some of the left over pallets and Paul got a good photo of them. I feel so happy and so thankful for the great day we all had today. With love from Penny
