The rain stopped this morning and we were happy to be able to get out together. Given the Spring Season, we went in search of wildflowers again. In order of the photos they are: Swamp Saxifrage (Tony loved these), Star Flower, Polygala (“Gay WIngs”), Dwarf Ginseng, Indian Cucumber, Ten Good Friends, and one of many Fast Flowing brooks. It’s hard to capture “fun” but there was plenty of that too.
We’re planning to go to the DAR for next week’s hike. Bob will bring a cooked turkey, others will bring cider, stuffing, pumpkin pie, apple pie, cranberry sauce, etc!! Crazy idea but it’s been on our minds ever since Bob told us that he had a turkey in his freezer! Hooray for the excitement that Spring stirs up in all of us. Penny
