80 degrees, but OK in the shade of the forest and, for Deb’s dog Livvy, in small watering holes and streams. Some inviting boulders for climbing on where I got my photo taken leaning on big tree. The climb to the “summit” was steep, very rocky, challenging, and fun. We had our bag lunches up there. The long view was beautiful and we tried (not so successfully) to name what we were seeing. The extensive rock formations on the way down were quite a surprise and had us wishing we had a a geology professor on the hike with us!
Maybe it will rain! I sure hope so, and I bet you do too. Stay well, explore, and …be amazed! Penny
